CRIPDES started under the name Christian Committee for the Displaced of
El Salvador. After the end of the Salvadoran Civil War, the CRIPDES
communities changed the name to The Association of Rural Communities for the Development of El Salvador. The spirit and philosophy of our
organization and its struggle for justice has stayed the same
throughout our history right to the present day.

Through our different information sections, you can learn more about our
work and find the different ways you can play a direct role in
accompanying our work.
